What we collect

• Enquiry details: your name, business or store name, email, phone or WhatsApp number, city and delivery country, target timing, business type, approximate quantity, selected styles, quantities, the enquiry page and any notes and optional PDF tech packs you choose to provide.
• Enquiry records: submission reference, date, status, consent confirmation where requested, submission and privacy-notice timestamps, notice version and email-notification status.
• Technical information: hosting and email services may process network addresses, device or request information and security logs. The enquiry system derives a pseudonymous identifier from your network address to limit repeated submissions.

Fields marked with an asterisk are required to submit the form. If you prefer, email us instead. Please keep notes relevant to your business enquiry and avoid sending payment-card details, passwords, government identity documents or sensitive personal information.

Why we use it

We use your details to review your sourcing or production request, prepare and discuss a quote, follow up on that enquiry, maintain the related business record and protect the website from misuse. Submitting this form does not subscribe you to promotional messages.

The homepage and contact enquiry forms let you request a business response without a consent checkbox. Where GDPR applies, responding to a business representative’s enquiry relies on our legitimate interest in handling that requested business communication, balanced against your rights. Steps you request towards a contract with you personally may rely on that contractual purpose. Where a detailed form explicitly requests consent, that consent is recorded for the stated enquiry processing. Security and abuse-prevention checks rely on our legitimate interest in protecting the service. Legal record-keeping obligations may apply if an order follows. We do not make automated decisions about you with legal or similarly significant effects.

Who receives the information

Enquiries are stored in SILQ’s owner-restricted inbox on the Sites hosting infrastructure, which uses Cloudflare services. Authorised people handling SILQ enquiries can access the records. PDF tech packs are stored privately with the enquiry and can be downloaded only through the owner-authenticated inbox. Email alerts include the filename, not a public link or a copy of the PDF. Email alerts containing enquiry details are processed through FormSubmit and delivered to SILQ’s Gmail inbox, where Google processes the email.

FormSubmit’s documentation states that it retains a submissions archive for 30 days. This is separate from SILQ’s saved enquiry and email copies. Google Fonts also receives browser requests to serve the site’s typefaces; see Google Fonts privacy information. We do not sell enquiry information. We may disclose information where required by law or necessary to handle a business request you have made.

International processing

Hosting and email providers may process information in countries outside India and, for European enquiries, outside the European Economic Area. Applicable transfer restrictions and safeguards depend on the provider, location and law. You can ask us for information about the providers, the transfer basis and a copy or summary of any safeguards applicable to your enquiry.

How long records are kept

We keep enquiry records while assessing and following up your request and, where relevant, maintaining the resulting business relationship. Further retention depends on outstanding orders, legal record-keeping duties, disputes or claims. Information should be deleted or anonymised when these purposes no longer require it. Email and service-provider copies have their own retention and deletion processes. You may ask us to review or delete your enquiry using the contact above.

Your choices and rights

You may contact us to request access to your information, a copy, correction, deletion or withdrawal of consent. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already lawfully carried out; it may limit our ability to continue the enquiry. Include your enquiry reference and contact us from the email used for the enquiry so we can verify the request without asking for unnecessary identity documents.

Where GDPR applies, you may also have rights to restrict processing, object to processing based on legitimate interests, receive a portable copy, and complain to the competent data-protection authority. We respond within the time limits required by applicable law, ordinarily one month for GDPR requests, subject to any permitted extension. Indian statutory rights, including grievance and nomination rights, apply as the relevant provisions come into force. You may raise a grievance with us and use the competent authority’s complaint process where available.

Browser storage and cookies

Your selected style IDs and quantities are saved in this browser’s local storage so your enquiry list remains available between visits. They stay there until you clear the list or browser data. An unfinished contact or buyer enquiry form is saved in your browser session to help you resume it; it is cleared on successful submission or when the browser session ends. PDF attachments must be selected again after leaving the form. This catalogue has no SILQ-added advertising pixels or analytics cookies. Hosting and owner sign-in services may use essential security or authentication cookies under their own policies.

Clearing the list does not delete an enquiry already submitted. Email us to request action on a saved enquiry.

Security, external links and changes

The site uses HTTPS and server-side owner authorisation for enquiry records and product editing. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. The catalogue is intended for adult business buyers, and is not directed at children. Instagram and other external links have their own privacy practices.

This notice describes the current catalogue and will be updated when its processing changes. India’s Digital Personal Data Protection framework has phased commencement; duties and rights apply according to the provisions in force.
